First you need to understand that we are not connected with VA, HUD, FHA, Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.  However, we do have over 30 years experience in the mortgage industry.

Our years of experience have taught us that most major problems occur during the purchase of a home because people, including mortgage professionals, do not understand the guidelines.

Guidelines are always changing and the information is difficult to find on the FHA and VA web sites.  This web site is only intended to provide a basic understanding.  If you need help finding the official information on the VA site we will be glad to help point you to the right link.

As a consumer you should understand that official VA guidelines are the minimum requirements that must be met for VA to guarantee your loan.  The Lender has the prerogative to demand higher standards and in today's market many do.  The lender has the ultimate authority and VA will not override higher standards.
